In light of the current situation, the band decided to think outside the box and managed to create an interesting nostalgic visual directed by band member and drummer Conor McCarthy. On the new visuals, the reimagine themselves in the sixties and seventies as they dramatically recreate a press conference set up. It’s really awesome to see indie artists really think out the box and not allow this situation to stop them from creating.

Aesthetically the Julian Culverhouse’s visuals benefit from a moody washed out, warm colour grade and a vintage aspect ratio. This creates a very hazy yet fitting image to convey the retro narrative that the band is trying to put out. Open Up is a very vibey and celebratory single and the visuals gel well together with the song.
