There’s been a feel good energy around Umlazi music maker Robin Thirdfloor, his musical direction has been taking a different direction, with a much more positive texture. Of course Somdanger has always used his music as an outlet to spread good energy frequencies. Being a funky Indie kid from ekasi has always had its difficulties with him often voicing how he has had troubles fitting in. Though the rapper managed to figure out that there’s an entire world of people that are just as different as he is.

That allowed him to learn to accept and embrace himself through records like Crazy but most importantly, Robin is trying to spread that feeling of self-acceptance and love. With his latest project titled Zithande which translates from Zulu to English as “love yourself”.  Recently he took to Instagram to share his dental story where he took a visit to his local dentist to restructure his teeth after he sustained an injury from a car accident. He took that opportunity to speak on self-acceptance and self-love; sharing how it took him a while to be confident and accept himself.

Now he kicks off his mixtape run by dropping Ayashisa Amateku and he displays his laid back rap style over a chill wave beat produced by Canada based producer Sabastxn. He lays claim to being the best rapper in the country, getting the bag and not being a slave to a cheque, there’s certainly a lot of fire in his eyes than ever before and this makes it even more exciting to hear his upcoming project.
