Here’s a brand new single by Raspy & Jua, the two acts collaborate to knit together the intrinsic jazzy aesthetic single Stay. The two vocalists linked up with uBeyond, Maz and Xplosive Dj on the production boards for the song.

On Stay, Raspy & Jua maintain a moody theme of love and relationships touching on the bad that comes with love. Things seem to be tired out, where they address the feeling of love losing its spark. When it comes to the production, the bass and drums don’t feel very ambient or curate much of an impressive mood. While the guitar gives off a warm bouncy feeling.

Where the song misses in terms of production, the vocals carry out a solid feel, with Jua on the opening verse of the single and Raspy wrapping things up on the last verse of the song. The song was recorded in November last year at Don Laka’s studios in Johanessburg. Overall the song will do enough to keep listeners intrigued to what the two acts might cook up. This is Jua’s first official release after she decided to quit her job as an investment banker to pursue music. While Raspy is working on her music video for Love Things.
