Neo-Drum pioneer and producer Garde releases a fresh Neo-Drum infused remix of DJ Maphorisa’s hit single Midnight Starring. Garde says that the release is part of a series where Gqom meets Neo-Drum.

Being from Durban, Garde understands the Durban sub-genre very well to have fun with it and add his own flavour. The remix is a smooth mind winding record. With slowed down vocals of the original song dipped in Neo-Drum production. Garde explains the inspiration behind the series, “I just wanted to change peoples perspective on South African music and how it can be flipped, especially Gqom” he says.
