Shane Eagle has been enjoying a good amount of success for his debut album Yellow. The highlight was the effort picking up gold at the SAMA’s for Hip Hop album of the year. It gave an essence of a change of precedence, with Yellow being a down tempo and somewhat melancholic album if compared to previous winners of the award in recent history. More than that, it ushered in his generation as serious competitors and heir to the South African hip hop throne.

Now to support the over a year old album, Shane released a short film which features Songs like MiHi, On My Own, Empty High Ways and a few more. YellowVerse has an inter galaxy theme.The concept behind it seems to be base on Shane’s universe; a Yellowverse. Throughout the film he has a samurai sword on his back that holds some form of significance in the audio visual.

YellowVerse has a cameo appearance from visual artist Nicole Black but for the most part Shane Eagle stars solo throughout the visual project.
