Since K.O dropped SR2, he’s been seen releasing a couple music videos for a few songs off his sophomore LP as a solo artist. Now K.O says his back in the battlefield with Two Piece, the two songs feature AKA and Cassper Nyovest respectively. he promptly teased the singles before he announced who will be on the features. He later spilled the beans and the two singles packed as an EP debuted on Metro FM.

Two Piece opens up with Fire Emoji with AKA. K.O and AKA have a history of collaborating with each other, From DJ Vigi’s Gods Will, to the classic Run Jozi off Levels and again on Bang Out. Keeping with that strong catalogue this time it’s Fire Emoji, at first the song sounds a bit lukewarm but after a couple of listens it starts to grow on you. You start to hear that it’s a really good song, many people were disappointed with SR2 , Fire Emoji doesn’t really sound like the K.O of old but the song is a more than just solid approach.

Waya Waya is easily the strongest of the two songs, K.O is in his comfort zone and he tags Cassper Nyovest for their first ever collaboration. It did come as a surprise to see Cassper on a song with K.O and it sounds like Cass’ did more than just justice on the song, his verse is the standout part of the entire Two Piece release. The concept that K.O went for was pretty cool, playing mutual ground between AKA and Cassper and calling it a Two Piece.
