Seazy XXL drops his new single titled Shumi produced by Brian Justice. Seazy raps about the hustle, putting money together just to fund the vision. “Shumi” is Zulu for 10th or R1, Seazy here is talking about the Rand as well has the struggle of actually trying to make it. On the opening verses he reminisces about his school days beck when he didn’t even have a rand but now he’s flipping ittrying to get it.

At the same time the song can be seen as an ode to consistency – “kuyoze kulunge noma bengasifuni”. This is a song that all creatives can relate to, knocking on industry doors but getting turned down countless times.
